Synpulse UK are looking to expand its London team with a 

Consultant (Financial Services)

As a Consultant, you will have the unique opportunity to perform at the intersection of traditional management consulting and financial services at a Consultant level. You will play a key role in our Banking team, where we work with our banking clients in their transformative efforts to enhance their operating efficiencies and overall digitalization. You will ensure the delivery of specific methodologies and tools, as taught at the Synpulse Academy Programme. You will also build long-term relationships with client stakeholders during assignments, exhibit enthusiasm both for delivering quality client work and for contributing to the firm’s culture through participation in internal initiatives and team events. 

Required experience:
  •  A minimum of 1 years’ experience in a role in a UK Financial Services organisation. 
  •  Understanding of core business processes and products in the financial services industry. 
  •  Process efficiency/ automation experience. 
  •  Exposure to modern change management concepts and effective business analyst skills to form part of a high-performance project team. 
  •  Experience as part of a transformation programme within a UK financial services organisation. 
  •  Exposure to Consulting, either through experience with a consulting firm, or acting in internal consulting capacity. 
  •  Understanding of information architectures and key technology platforms and solutions used in the sector. 

  • Degree-level education in a relevant business or technology discipline.  
  • Ideally a Masters’ degree (MA, MSc, or MBA). 

  • Conducting research, data collection and analysis on the needs and issues of the client through interviews and workshops to translate their requirements into well-formulated solutions. 
  • Ability to confidently present findings and recommendations to the client using business proposals and presentation decks. 
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, including ability to uncover new opportunities for account growth and impact. 
  • Creative mindset, with proven ability to find and design innovative solutions to complex problems. 
  • Good understanding of Project management methodologies, tools and techniques for gathering and clarifying requirements and data in complex change environments. 
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies; Scrum Master certifications is a plus. 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a history of relationship management, team collaboration and the ability to influence business outcomes.
